laserjet 1012 and windows 7 64 bit drivers

I have a new Windowws 7 64 bit Ultimate computer.  I have a Laserjet 1012 and there are OS drivers for it, nor are there any updated drivers for it for Windows 7.  A friend of mine suggested getting the Vista 64 bit drivers.  Is this a realistic possibility?

If it isn't, is there another product driver for windows 7 that will work with the laserjet 1012?

I made a misrake in my previous posting--there are NO OS drivers in Windos 7 for the laserjet 1012

Quick suggestion;

Since your laserjet 1012  is a commercial product. I will suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support as well for a better chance at finding a prompt solution.
