My laptop recognizes the HP 6200 AIO at my daughter's house, and the HP L7590 at my house.
The 6200 is at least 3 years old,
and the L7590 is 1 year old.
Now the 6200 will be given away and replaced by a brand-new 6500 Wireless.
Before I install all the software that comes with the newest printer, what is the best way to remove old, out of date software and drivers that came with the oldest printer.
I notice that there is an entry in Start->All Programs->HP->OfficeJet All-in-one 6200 series->Uninstall
Can I be confident that running that item will not clobber my L7590 in any way?
Then, when I install the new 6500 wireless software, I also want to be sure that the L7590 does not lose any functions.
So, I am eager to hear from anyone who has been down this path and can warn me of any pitfalls.
Thank you!
