"Scan To"

Issue:  when I attempt to scan a document from the HP Sol't Center, I have a blank field where it says "Scan To".  I can't input anything into this field and the software won't let me scan w/o a destination.  I spent liternally hours on the phone w/HP support and they couldn't resolve the issue.  Has anyone had this problem and, more importantly, does anyone have a solution?  Thanks very much and happy holidays!

Re: "Scan To"

Sorry to hear about your problem but I'm glad I'm not hte only one with the same exact problem. HP's solution was to creat a shortcut tom the scanning exe and use this to scan with. In other words they have no solution.

Re: "Scan To"

Thanks Paul and sorry you've had the same problem w/o a fix.  I can scan from my PDF program, but it's a pain in the a_ _ because it doesn't work well when I'm feeding documents.  What happens is that I have to resize each page.  Weird since all the pages are the same paper size and format.  I have an Canon all-in-one at my other office and I like it much more than the HP.

Hi JDL51,

(*If there are no restart option, restart the computer)

Re: "Scan To"

What scanner or all-in-one do you have?  What operating system?  Downloading and installing the Photosmart C6350 driver may help, but probably not unless you actually have a C6300 series printer....

Re: "Scan To"

I have the same problem with my HP Photosmart C7280.  Numerous attempts to uninstall the CD software and then install the downloaded versions specified by the HP Chat folks never worked.  I've attempted this 6 or 7 times with no results.
