i purchased a printer in USA, the cartridges that we sell will not work unless you first have your printer recalibrated, as it were, to make it compatible with the consumer goods sold within the UK.
how do i do this

You will need to Contact HP and request a "regionalization reset". This procedure can be done over the phone. You will need access to your printer and computer during the call. You will also need a set of UK cartridges to perform the regionalization reset.
