Re: removing batch files

According to Bob_Headrick,

The general procedure goes something like this:  download the full featured driver for your printer from HP here.  Run the installer, but abort the process (or just stop responding to prompts) when you get to the section on selecting options.  Now navigate to the system temp directory, typically you can find this by opening "My Computer" and typing %temp% in the address bar.  Within this directory search for a new directory starting with 7z.... that will have been created when the installer was run.  Navigate in this directory to the util\CCC directory and look for the uninstall_L1.bat file.  Run this by right clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator".  Repeat for uninstall_L2 through uninstall_L4.  Some reboots may be required after some of the steps.

Once all the uninstall steps have been done then abort the install process if it is still running and delete the 7z... directory.

For some products there is a "scrubber" utility that makes the job easier.  Click here, then put your printer model in the product box at the top while leaving the "all-in-one scrubber" information in the question box.

Hope this helps!
