slow HP6110 all in one printer and stuck print jobs

My printer was working just fine yesterday.  Today print jobs are getting stuck in the queue,  and it takes forever for a page to print--15 mins or so.  I've tried the print diagnostic utility and I get a test print page-- it is slow but after all it is just one line.It tells me everything else is ok.  It suggested that I turn off the printer, turn it back on and detatch and reattach the usb cables and restart the computer which I did. Before that,  I uninstalled the hp 'program' and reinstalled it using the original cd that came with the printer. BTY, Comcast tech had to come out today because my internet and phones were not working.  He opened the router and pulled out the battery , pushed it back in and those two now work just fine. The printer was not working this am at all, so at least by working at it off and on all day I just have the slowness and the printing jobs stuck in the 'queue'.   Please provide needed assistance!!!  Thanks
