why will my laptop not take the printers driver

Hi i have just purchased a HP PSC 1410 and my laptop is a acer aspire 5738z, windows 7, dureing set up it said there was an error stateing i should contact systems administrater some kind of problem with run, and this is all i can say about it really, i would be very greatfull of any help, thanks.

Make sure you are getting your drivers from this page:

Ensure you are selecting the correct OS version (32 or 64bit) - You can find out which you are using by right clicking 'Computer' from the start menu and selecting properties.
