Deskjet F300 and Windows 7

I have just installed Windows 7.  I tried to run my HP Deskjet F300 series CD but get a message that it not compatiable with my  operating system and that it can not proceed until this issue is resolved.  The CD is for Windows 98E, Me, 2000, XP Version 7.0.1 or Mac OS X but not Windows 7 recently released.   How can I resolve this issue?

You do not mention which of the many Deskjet F300 series printers you have, but you can download the drivers by clicking here, select the proper printer model, then select either Windows 7 32 or 64 bit as appropriate.

I did installed the software and driver like you said, I got a message successfully installed.  I tried to print and got a error code #87, what does this mean?

As I said two years ago above:  You do not mention which of the many Deskjet F300 series printers you have, but you can download the drivers by clicking here, select the proper printer model, then select either Windows 7 32 or 64 bit as appropriate.

As per ur instruction i have installed the software for my deskjet F370 series.But in the middle of installation it got an error and whole installation is rollbacked every time i tried to installed.

What about Windows 7 x64 or x32 ? Your link is for Win8 ?! Is this/these drivers "backward compatible" to Win 7 ?

You will need to download the drivers from the HP website.
