HP 710C Driver for Windows - Parallel connetion

Hi,

i've recently changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 64 bit.

i've tried looking online for a driver to the HP 710C printer, but all i can see are comments on USB connection of this driver.

My HP 710C has a parrallel connection, and Windows does not automatilcaly detect and install it.

does anyone know where i can find an appropriate driver?

thx

Re: HP 710C Driver for Windows - Parallel connetion

The only way to use the 710C on a Windows 7 computer will require a USB to Parallel adapter. (StarTech)

If you decide to go this way make sure the adapter is rated for 64-bit Windows.

Also there is a patch that you will need to install because of a bug in the Windows driver that causes the spooler to crash on 64-bit Windows.
