HP Envy 100 D410 a

My HP Envy 100 printer is able to print, but the touch screen only has the HP logo and none of the functionalities. I have unplugged it, switched it back on. To no effect. can someone help?

Hi,

Temporary plug the printer to your PC with a USB, then download and run the following tool to recover the printer:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-92513-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...

Hope that may help,

Shlomi

Hi Shlomi

just as a follow upto my message below. The panel does NOT display a "power down..." message. It just has the HP logo, and none of the funtions around the panel are lit up.

Re: HP Envy 100 D410 a

Hi,

This tool is quite old and it is only available for OS X 10.5 or 10.6, not for newer OS X versions:

If you have a newer OS version, I would suggest trying to get a Windows 7 laptop from family, friend, etc. and give it a try although it described a bit differently. this is the only option you may try other then servicing the device.

Hope that may help,

Shlomi
