Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

Thank you for your reply.  I hope they can help you.  How is the computer connected that is having the issue?   It sounds like if it is connected with a wire, you may want to change the wire.  If it is wireless, move your router or printer away from anything metal or that could cause electrical interference.

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

I am having difficulty in accessing any download page, including the first link in your post:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c03737332

I simply get a page stating "The connection was reset"

I am specifically looking for a W7 driver for a Laserjet 2100m. I can access the 'selection page' at:

http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/support-search.html?tab=1#/qryterm=laserjet%202100m&search_searchtype=s-002

but the link it offers me:

http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-002&h_lang=en&h_cc=uk&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_page=hpc...

results in the same "The connection was reset" message.

I have tried different browsers, and have had colleagues in the Netherlands and Australia attempt to try the download, but all attempts have the same result.

Can you please provide an alternative link?

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

The site may have been down for maintenance.  Try it again and if it doesn't work, try clearing your internet's history, cookies, and cache by opening your internet options either via the control panel of the windows pc you are on or in internet explorer, then close the browser and opening it again, then try the links above.

Let me know if that works for you or not.

Good luck!

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

Many thanks for your reply.

As I said in my post, I had tried with different browsers and attempts were made from around the world with the same result which suggested that it was not a 'local' problem.

It appears the links were broken/incorrect - see Problem accessing HP site - but are now fixed.

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

You're welcome. Were you able to get what you need now or are you still looking? I'm afraid to find the downloads anywhere else besides hp.com because fake sites will try to trick you to install something that doesn't exist so be careful if you're looking for the drives elsewhere.

Are you an admin user on this PC? What version of windows is it again? I'm on my phone so I can't view previous conversations

Happy to help! I'll try my best at least.

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

All broken links on the HP site were fixed on November 19th - the day after my original post - and I have managed to download the required drivers. Please refer to the link I posted in my previous post.

Thanks again.

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

I have an HP Officejet Pro L7590.  Just recently it has been making me save everything  on the computer before it lets me print.  Then, I have to go to my saved document and right click and print it that way.  It just started doing this and I have no idea why.  Is there a way to make it stop?

Thanks

Re: HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet - Windows 7 support

Quickest method and good first troubleshooting step is to reboot the PC. Then if that doesn't work, uninstall (from add/remove programs) and maybe reboot the PC again then reinstall the printer software. Let me know if you need help with how to do that because this is a software problem with the computer, not the printer.

Good luck and keep me posted.
