Hi!

@herald_2400

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial product. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/

I hope this helps.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you are having connectivity issues between your printer and your Officejet 4620.  I'm presuming that you are connected wirelessly to your printer because you have an Arris 4142.  I have included a document with detailed trouble shooting steps to take when your printer doesn't maintain a wireless connection.

Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection

Re: HP Printer Control app for Windows 8

Windows 8.1 with a LaserJet 1000 connected through a USB connection - the system can't find the driver.

On the non-compliant products support page this printer is noted as not being supported in Windows 8 but is supported in 8.1 through an 'In-OS' driver.  I've followed the recommended Add Printer sequence for LaserJet printers, including the Windows Update sequence (which did add several printers to the initial list) but I don't see the 1000 listed.

This is a new HP desktop - 810-170st.  The Devices and Printers Control Panel page does show the printer but status shows 'Driver is unavailable'

Any suggestions as to next steps?

Re: HP Printer Control app for Windows 8

I have the officejet 7500 910 wideprint.I think it has to do with the wireless connection and ssid and keys. It seems that if I fix the one it messes it up with the other!!! PAIN!
