I have the same issue.  Where is the HP Scanner software?  I need to scan multiple pages !

Zeke88, I had no luck with HP software so I compromised and installed 'Advanced Scan to PDF Free'.  Does most things but doesn't allow you to create a specific filename when creating a PDF (must go to scanned file and rename after).  Also doesn't allow you to save to previous folder so must dig through the folders every time.  Not bad for free I guess.
