Hi,

I recently reinstalled my windows 7  x64 Bit operating system. I tried again installing my LaserJet 1005 (not M1005), but it's not possible. I tried everything but I am not able to install the printer. Its very frustrating since I spent so much for the printer and windows 7 only to find they are not compatible. Please help.

Hi,

Software and drivers for LJ 1005 can be found from link below.

Thanks, but my printer is not P1005 or M1005, is only 1005. :Crying: Any options?

Hi,

Since Laserjet 1005 is a old product the drivers are not available, refer link below for more options.

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at Printers - LaserJet.
Click on New Post.

Did you get a chance to look at the link @DevRao provided?

HP LaserJet - Products not supported in Windows 7.

It suggests to run the Windows updates to install the driver.

I hope this helps.

HP LaserJet 1005 series printer is working on all 32-Bit Versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 Technical Preview) but not on the 64-Bit versions. You do have the right to install the 32-Bit version of Windows with the same key than the 64-Bit version.
