I have a c4180 aio printer running on win7 64 bit which appears to be working fine.
However after I download and install the Printing diagnostic utility all I get is a blank box when I try to run the program.

Thanks but I have already tried this new update to no avail.
Last week I reinstalled the os onto my pc and installed my printer before downloading any Ms updates and the utility worked fine. Once all the updates were installed the utility had stopped working and now I am back to an empty dialogue box.

So you are using Print Diagnostic Utility 2.0 ? I think there was an issue with PDU 1.5 . Could you verify that a log file is created on desktop. log file name will be hp_pdu_log.log

The HP Print Diagnostic Utility (aka "PDU") has been replaced by HP's next generation diagnostic tool, the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
All functionality previously available in the PDU and the HP Network Diagnostic Utility (aka "NDU") has been combined in one easy to use tool, the new HP Print and Scan Doctor.
