c6350 driver

Trying to install a c6350 on windows 7 hp computer. Can not load driver or software package. Message says there is a problem with the driver. Diags say it is not there Saw one solution was to use uninstall but I do not have it and cant find it.Printer worked fine on old computer. Also ordered software for win 7 from HP. No change. Download from HP was same.

Appreciate any help.

HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows

 

Please disconnect any cables that you have going from the computer to the printer and leave them off until the installation advises to reconnect.

Hi again. Sorry to hear that you are still having issues with installing the driver and software. This is actually sounding like a computer issue rather then a driver issue. What is the make and model of your computer?

It is an HP 6404y. My network consiats of desktop windows 7,c6350, Dell studio Vista, Software loaded on dell fine wont load on desktop. Does it  have to be on both?

yes the software should be loaded on to both computers individually so that it can recognize the connection over the network.

OI have tried w/no cable,w/usb,w/ the laptop both on and off the net w/o installer hppiw. have 920 GB free space

Tried that it got to the part where it made contact w the printer then said load software  went to checking sys then died saying it could not find file 7Z whatever that # seems to change in each download. Tried cd and got same thing different #
