hp laserjet p1102w driver

I've been trying for a couple of days to download the 64-bit windows 7driver for the HP LaserJet P1102W printer, but the HP download website keeps telling me the file is not found.

I need this driver and my computer has no optical drive, so I need to download it. Please help.

Thanks.

Re: hp laserjet p1102w driver

Hi,

In that case there may be another solution , FInd out the ip adres of the printer and type it into your browser. You should reacht the embedded web server of the printer. on that page there should be a tab "smart install" Click it and from the next page select download. The driver will be downloaded from the printer itself. From the printer itselfd you say? Yes from the printer, these printer have a smart install function, which means there is a small amount of memory in the printer that contains the print driver.

Re: hp laserjet p1102w driver

Hi, has this issue been resolved? I cannot download the driver either, as I also need the download vs. optical drive.

I cannot connect the printer to the computer with either wireless or usb cable.

Here is the web page that is not working: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=bi-80329-6&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...

thanks,

jeremy

Go to www.hp.com Enter the product name / number. Be sure to check the additional information, like how to install the driver or troubleshooting guides.

Re: hp laserjet p1102w driver

Did that several times. Unless you've fixed it in the last few hours, the file is missing from your website. It takes you to the driver/software download and then, when you click on it, it says "File not found."

The solution posted above worked. Using the http protocol, point to the IP address of the printer with your briswer, download the software and install. Worked perfectly.

Re: hp laserjet p1102w driver

I have no idea how to find an ip address, so that isn't a solution. I really just need to be able to find the software and download it.
