hp printer all in one C4270

Please help, I keep getting the message that it's due to the printer that I cannot put my computer on standby, also I have not been receiving updates.

Also when I try to do so via the site there is no response and the help docter doesn't work either, can someone tell me how to fix this.

Thanks,

Rose

Hi rose10,

Could you please help us by providing some additional details.

How are you putting the pc on standby? Which OS are you using at the moment.

Thank you!

Re: hp printer all in one C4270

Hello Robert, thank you for your reply.

When closing down the computer there are three choices, 1 is to click on standby, 1 to turn off comletely, and the last to annul.

It does not work when I click on standby. Can you also tell me why I no longer receive hp updates and cannot even download them on the hp site.

You will have to excuse me voor not knowing what OS means, I know enough to use the computer { it wasn't easy finding you! } plus English is my second language.

Hope to hear,

Rose

Re: hp printer all in one C4270

Hi rose10,

This problem may be specific to how the printer is setup in your PC.

I feel that it will be easier to call HP Tech Support to resolve.

I am sorry I could not successfully resolve your issue via this forum.

Re: hp printer all in one C4270

Hello Robert,

Sorry for the late reply, I've had this printer for a few years and as far as I can tell the set up was fine until now.

I will indeed take your advise and try to contact HP support.

Thank you for trying,

regards, Rose
