I have an HP Officejet pro 8600 printer and recedntly I bought a refilled cartridge. When I installed the ink I persistently get an error message "HP Protected cartridge installed". I have already disable the setting of "HP Cartridge Protection" from the very beginning.
How can I remove this error and use my printer?

HP Protected Cartridge allows the cartidge owner to set a cartridge protection, once a such is being set (probably by its previous owner) the cartridges will only be accepted by printer used to enable this feature and that cannot be undone...

I would suggest contacting the cartridge supplier or replacing the ink cartridges
