8500 909n Wireless Installati on Issues

I have a 8500 Pro All-In-One that I am installing using the wireless connection.
The iMac installed without any problems.
The HP laptop with Windows XP SP 3 goes through the installation process and sees the printer under the detection portion of the installation, it has the correct IP address listed, but when it is doing the actual install after that point it says that it is unable to complete installation and to either try again or connect to the printer later. I of course tried again several times with the same error. The installation process gets to 44% and sits for a minute, then goes to 50% and sits there for quite a while before jumping to 100% and posting a big red X on the screen telling me that it could not complete the installation process. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Connect the printer to your network, then install the software. Here is how:
1. On the front of the printer go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup WIzard. Follow the instructions.
2. Now, load the software, choosing Network installation when it asks (not USB), and follow the instructions. It should see the printer already on the network and finish the installation.

I mentioned that it already sees the printer and its IP address in the installation process. When it literally starts installing the software is where the problem comes up. The iMac had no problems with its installation process.
