Access to wireless printer lost after password change

I'm hoping someone can help me.  I changed the wireless access password on the router that our HP Laserjet Professional P1102w is attached to and now no one can access this printer.  I have deleted the printer from Windows 7 and was only able to add it by using the IP address because it could not be found on the network.  I have tried the HP scan doctor tool and have tried to reinstall the printer from scratch, but have had no success.  Is there something I am missing?

Re: Access to wireless printer lost after password change

Hi,

With the IP address of printer are you able to access printer EWS page on computer?

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

I'm not sure what you mean by using the IP address to access the printer EWS page.  How do I do this, please?

Re: Access to wireless printer lost after password change

Hi,

To open EWS page you need to know the IP address of printer, IP address can be found by.

Print a Configuration page from the printer control panel (P1102w models only)

  1. Make sure that the Ready light ( ) is on and that the product is idle and silent.
  2. Press and hold the Cancel button ( ), and release it when the Ready light ( ) begins blinking.
    The Configuration page prints.

Check IP address and type that IP address in Internet Explorer page.

Re: Access to wireless printer lost after password change

I processed the Self test as you suggested and see that the IP address now shows as 0's so it has lost it's address on the network.  It shows IP configured by: = Manual.  The wireless status recognizes the SSID and authentication of the router and shows its status as enabled.  Can you tell me how to get the printer onto the network?  I think this is the problem and if I can get it added to the network this will likely solve the problem.
