I think I have a pretty common problem. My C309A will not stay connected via my wireless router. I have spent hours on the phone with Tech Support but the problem still exists. It will stay on for an hour or so then fall offline. I am using a Netgear WNR2000 Wireless N Router, changed it to channel 11, have set up the IP address manually, etc... Any suggestions? By the way, the Bluetooth works awesome.
Thank you for your help.

I've had the same problem... I finally talked to a support person at HP that told me it was a "known problem" and that there is no ETA for a solution. Essentially they told me to unplug the power cord from the devise and plug it back in. That works if I use a PC...does not work for a MAC.

Will the printer wake up with a router reset? Have you set a static IP address for the printer?

It will reset if I go go into Nework Set Up and ask the printer to search for routers. It will then automatically connect once it sees my router I do have a static IP Address. HP Tech support help me get it set up. any help is greatly appreciated.

My question was - 'does it wake up with a router reset' (only)? Also, when you set the static IP address, did you set it outside your router's DHCP range? How did you set the static IP (through the router or through the printer)?
What brand/model router do you use?

I have a Netgear WNR2000 Wireless N Router. The printer will reset either way. The static IP was set up through the printer not the router and with the help of HP. The router still gets its IP "Dynamically From ISP". Not sure what my DHCP Range is for my router. Thank you again for your help.

OK, print a Network Config Page from the front panel of the printer. Let me know what the printer's IP address is.
From there we will take a guess at a new IP address that is outside the DHCP range and program that into the printer.

OK, does it get that IP address every time it wakes from sleep? You can actually view it on the front panel instead of having to print it. From the same screen you printed it, scroll down near the bottom.
