C4580 - Problems with Wireless Installation/Setup

Hi Old-Proc,

I finally resolved my issues with this problem by upgrading to a new laptop with Windows 7 (the old laptop was XP).  The new HP installation software for the printer (which I think is not available on XP) worked much better and I did not get these errors.

Anyway, while I was still using XP on the old laptop, clicking "ignore" when I got those errors in the setup seemed to work.  I could use the printer.

Thanks for the help, by following the instruction above, I was able to connect to may home computer over the network

I have misplaced my CD and do not have the software to get my computer to alk back and fourth.Can you help me with that?

I have the same exact problem with My printer; exact error in installation; and I have A Kaspersky pure and windows 7.I tried to go through the ports but I didn't find any UDP427 port in my anti-virus.

And I have a Hp pavillion dv6-2456ca
