Re: Can I convert my HP Laserjet 4500n with an ethernet port to wifi?

BH, thanks for your reply. I am already setup as your diagram indicates using an ethernet cable from the printer to the router. I am wanting to eliminate the ethernet cable by using a converter such as the IOGear GWU627 which plugs into an ethernet port and will connect wirelessly with my wireless enabled router. Because printers can be different than other devices, I wanted to know if anyone knows that such a device will work on the HP printer which does not have a wireless port.

HI ndryder; Hope you a having a great day,

I am reaching out to probe if you still experience this issue. BANHIEN is one of our best expert in the forum.  I noticed that he is advising you and  if he can will do so further, but bear in mind this is a commercial product. I suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support as well  for yet  a better chance at finding a prompt solution.

You may find the commercial Laserjet board here.
