Can't Get 3050A Connected to New Wireless Router

My ATT DSL Router went out on me a couple weeks ago and they sent a replacement.  I have got a dozen devices connected to the new one but cannot get the 3050A J611g connected.  I have tried everything I could find...

1.  Uninstalled all HP software and going through setup again.

2.  Reset Printer Network Defaults and repeat step 1.

Of course, this includes going through the "Printer Setup and Software' program on my computer.  Nothing works.  I did find these instructions on the HP site...

To reconfigure your wireless settings on a printer that does not feature a control panel Wireless Setup Wizard:

1. Insert the printer software CD into your computer.
2. Select Reconfigure Network Settingsfrom the Welcome Back screen.

The problem is that I do not get "Reconfigure Network Settings" as an option when I put the setup disc back into my computer.  No "Welcome Back" screen either.  Any help would be much appreciated.

OK, this is tricky:

1. Restart your router by pulling its power plug momentarily.

2. On the front of the printer: Wireless > Wireless Settings > Restore Defaults

3. In the HP software folder you should see Add a Device - run it.

First off, thanks for trying to help.

But I do not see "Add a Device" in any folder within the HP programs.  I did run the HP Software Updater but it said there were no updates.  Also, I just tried steps one and two.  Then I went into 'Printer Setup and Software' file but it just has three options... add a new printer, convert a printer, or add more software.  So I tried both of the first two options but it did not work. 

Any idea on what I am doing wrong?

If you go to start > programs > hp > deskjet 3050a do you you see a USB to wireless application in there?

No.  I do not see this option in location mentioned.  It is not listed in the programs at all. 

However, if I open 'Printer Setup and Software"  the option to convert from USB to wireless is available.  Never works for me though.

I had the exact same problem:  you need to totally uninstall the printer software from the add/remove programs....then reinstall using your install cd.

* I had tried everything including pressing the WPS button and then entering the pin from my printer etc., restoring defaults.  Nothing worked - it kept going to my old network.

Appreciate everyone's help.  But it must have been an hardware situation. After tons of calls and a few broken promises, I finally got a case manager who took care of me and sent me another printer.  Saved my faith in HP.
