What are you connecting it to (what router)? Are you doing this via an Ethernet cable? Did you turn the printer off, cycle power on the router, then turn the printer back on?

It's patched into a network. I plugged in the patch and then turn in on waited 2 minutes nothing.

What is a patch? Can you describe the components? Is it a switch? What kind of network - home or office or corporate?

Patch cable
it's plugged into a corporate Lan.

Oh, if it is plugged into a corporate network it will have to log onto that network somehow. Contact your network adminstrator, I don't think I can help you.
