Deskjet 3050A isn't working wireless

Hi , I recently bought a Deskjet 3050A.
Its working fine with USB but when I try to connect it to the network, installion always fails at the stage where its trying to find the printer.
How do I solve this problem??
My setting are:
- Printer IP: is at 192.168.1.77
- Router: BT Home Hub
- Security type: WPA2-Personal
- Encryption type: AES
- Operating system: Windows XP

Hello Stoner298,
I can see you are having problems with the detection of your printer in the network. Most often this can be resolved with the following steps.
[1] If there is a firewall, try to disable it, and let the install look again
[2] If it is disabled and still can not find it, try a advanced search on the IP the printer has.
[3] If that also fails, then do the following :
[3a] Go to [Start] and click [Run].
[3b] type : devmgmt.msc and click on [Ok]
[3c] In the top of the Devicemanager, click on [View] and select [Show hidden devices].
[3d] If it shows a multifunctional adapter, the select it and remove it.
[4] Once this is removed, try to install the printer again and if it still does not autodetect it, then search via IP.
In most cases the printer can then be found, and you can install the all in one printer, if the issue persists, then it might be deeper inside Windows XP, there are some more altenative options that we can try then.
Hope you can resolve the issue with the above steps though!

Don't have a firewall. Tried the second solution but no multifunctional adapter showed up.
Also tried to install the printer on my laptop which is running Windows 7 but again it failed at the detection of printer stage.

Hello,
I can see that the above options do not work, I can only assume that your printer has a IP adress. In the case that it does not get detected on multiple computers, then your best option is to check out on what channel your router is broadcasting.
For example, if you router is sending the signal on channel 11, then try to select channel 1 for example. Then try the install again to see if the printer can get detected.
