Deskjet 3050A wireless network connection lost part-way through printing photo

I am trying to print a photo using "Best" quality on A4 photo paper. I have happily used the same settings before to print the same photo on the same paper so I know it can work properly. But now each time I try to print it gets roughly halfway through the photo, then stops (never at exactly the same point though) and the computer reports that it is "Unable to Communicate With the Printer" and invites me to cancel the printing.

I can print (same quality/paper settings) on a smaller sheet - say 10x15.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to help me. I've been through all the steps and still the problem persists.

In fact, the problem is a little worse than I first thought. Today I attempted to print a 3 page .pdf bank statement (never had any problem doing this before). The printer works normally until partway through the second page (sometimes 1/3 of a page, sometimes as much as 3/4 of the page) then stops (LCD display still indicates "Printing..."). After a minute or so, the computer reports that communication has been lost.

I can print the same 3 page .pdf from my iPhone or iPad with no problem.
