Envy 110 prints email and documents, won't print pictures

I got this printer so I could print from my iPad. Printer and iPad are communicating. Printer prints emails and documents. Scans and either prints or stores a scanned picture. When I try to print a saved photo (wirelessly), the printer hums and paper bar swings out, and it sounds like it is printing, but then a blank page comes out. Any suggestions?
