HP OfficeJet 8600

I have searched this but unable to find a solution.  I have a networked 8600.  Most items print with no problem however sometimes it wont print excel spreadsheets.  The weird thing is that sometimes it will print with no problem other times just blank pages come out of the printer. 

 

Any help would be great.

Have you tried to update Office?  What operating system?

Windows XP

Office 2003 with SP3

 

Updating office other than patches and SP is not an option at this point.  Corporate decides when we update.

OK, then you are at your corporation's mercy.  Make sure you reboot your PC daily and hope your company decides to keep you current.

No offense but I don't think so.  I have 27 other printers in this building and this is the only one that acts like this.  The majority ( like 24 out of 28 ) being HP's.  Including the older version the K5400.  This problem is specific to the K8600.
