Hello. My above printer will be connected for like 30 seconds...then the blue light next to "wireless" starts blinking and I can't print/scan, etc.
I ran the network test and it doesn't seem like anything is wrong.
Can anyone help? I am running windows 7 home.

What router? Does the printer have a good signal (print a wireless network test from the front of the printer)?

It's a Netgear N600
Yes, the signal seems to be good. Says signal quality is excellent.

OK, lets check on some settings on your router:
1. Make sure that the SSID is being broadcast and that MAC filtering is not enabled.
2. Make sure that 802.11g mode is enabled.
3. Do not use WEP encryption, use WPA or WPA2 instead.
4. Change the channel to 11.

Please note that my dad has the exact same printer in his office which is next to mine. Not sure if that matters, but I am running off his router.

So the Netgear is your dad's? Does your printer have a good wireless signal? If not, it will get interrupted (by almost anything - cordless phone, a microwave, etc).

Correct...his home office is right next to mine...it worked just fine right when I got the printer...no issues, nothing really changed except all of a sudden that wireless light kept blinking....
Yes it has a good signal. I just don't get it!

Well, it could be that another wireless network was added in the area or someone got a new cordless phone or any number of other changes that you would not necessarily know about.
Did you change the router's channel to 11? If so and there was no improvement, try channel 1.

The easiest way is to use the CD that came with the router. If that is not available, from any computer on the router's network, type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of a web browser (it may be 192.168.0.1 depending on the model).
The router login is 'admin' and the password is 'password'.
Navigate to the wireless section and change the channel there.
