Hi Jesistar2013,

I work for HP and am helping a relative with getting a HPPS 7520 issue.  Their printer connects to the network after going through the Wireless Setup Wizard, but after it goes to sleep the first time it says its still connected but its not (it doesn't show up as connected in their router list of connections, can't open the EWS, and can't find it via AirPrint or WS-Print).

I tried updating the FW, it gives an error of "Problem Found" with no more details.  My next step is to try to connect it to ePrint and see if ePrint will update the FW.  Would the solution to the problems on this thread also solve the issue I'm seeing?

Thanks!

Tim

Hi there

I just bought a 7520 and configured it to work wireless with my Macbook Pro.

It prints. Hooray!

It doesn't scan. Boo!

Tried scanning via Print Utility: 'unable to communicate with the device'.

Won't connect to Web Services, won't update etc.

Won't print a report. Takes forever.

Tried manually inputting IP address via the touchscreen.

Also tried inputting IP address into blank browser then inputting manual DNS.

Help me please. This is highly frustrating.

Update: it scans via HP scan!

But it still won't connect to Web Services etc.

I patiently await a solution...

Regards and have a nice day!

Chris

Hi Mrcpugmire,

Where you able to manually input the DNS information?

HP PhotoSmart 7525

I am getting the same error.  I can scan through the HP Scan drivven from my computer.  I can access the Web Applications from the touch screen of the printer.  The printer is able to send me a new PIN to my e-mail when I request one.  I have made the changes to the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  I have reset my router.

What else can I try.
