HP Photosmart 8750 with Windows 7 -64

I'm using the Photosmart 8750 with Windows 7 64 bit. The printer functions correctly however I'm unable to display a service tab on the printer's properties. Therefore, I'm unable to check ink levels and perform basic maintainance functions like cleaing and aligning. Has anyone managed to fully install this printer with Windows 7 - 64?

Hi,

Do you have this printer hooked up with USB cable or networked ? Coz this supports USB install only on Win 7. If you have shared the printer then this feature may not be available.

The printer is networked (wireless). All the printer functions work properly so the Windows 7 driver is OK. I can monitor the ink levels by using the printer's IP address in the browser but no maintainance functions are available. Is the some work around? Can these functions be accessed from the printer directly? Do you plan on eventually updating the driver for Windows 7 - 64 bit?

I'm having the same issue with my printer under Win7. I was hoping that the HP rep above who is blowing their own horn would have got back to you but it looks like they ran out of air. Too bad.  My next printer will be an Epson.

What kind of printer do you have?  Has it worked in the past then stopped working (the ability to see this service tab)?  Please describe your issue and I'll do my best to help.
