Hello, I'm trying to set up my photosmart 4780 to my new wireless network. I had to change my router due to problems with my service however now I can't remember how to change the network information. I have tried everything I can think of and can't find my instruction manual anywhere. Please help!

I'm having problems setting up my HP photosmart C4780 wirelessly. I have a macBook Pro. I need help to set it up manually.
Attention: There is a primary printer working wirelessly on the house network and it's part of the reasons why my HP cannot retrieve the network in place. HP wireless connection is possible but only manually. HELP!

am i understanding that if i get the dreaded "wireless radio not functioning" during installation, that this wireless printer is not going to work wirelessly? this printer is virtually brand new, out of warranty i'm sure...but only ever used a handful of times....that really makes me very upset...

Hi.. I have the ultimate solution for this:
1- On your small printer screen, go to wireless settings, press on WSP - press "push button"
2- Go to your wireless router panel - by using the IP address of the router (mine is 18.104.22.168), go to "Wireless" and press the WSP Button (two rounded arrows)
1- On your small printer screen, go to wireless settings, press on WSP - press "Pin"
2- Go to your wireless router panel, go to "Wireless" and pput the PIN number that you see on the small screen.

Most of this worked, thanks! I am still not able to make my computer find my printer after I disconnect from the AdHoc Hpsetup network, but this manual reset made the HPsetup appear in my networks list, which was not happening before.

Hi, I know this is from quite awhile ago, but I was hoping maybe you could still help me. I am trying to connect my Photosmart C4780 wirelessly to my macbook running Mavericks. From what I've been told, there is no driver so the only hope I have is to use the ad hoc hpsetup network. That's where your instructions came in. I was previously unable to get the hpsetup network to appear until I followed your posted steps through the full reset. I have been able to follow everything here up through pressing finish on the setup wizard however nothing new ever loads and I cannot move forward to communicating with my printer on my home network. I was wondering if you might know why this is.

MAC filtering is an error that is thrown from the printer when it cannot connect. It can happen for reasons other than MAC filtering.
Let's run a Wireless Network Test from the Setup [Scan] > Network area of the printer control panel. It will self-test the printer's radio.
