HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m not printing wireless anymore

I ran the diagnostic troubleshooter on my laptop, and it says there is no connection to the printer.  Can't find it on my network.  I had recently updated the Photosmart online with drivers (I think)  They worked beautifully before.  Do I need to change some settings??  Also now there are 3 icons for this printer in the devices page.  Two of them say Printer: Ready & one says Printer Offline (this one is the original )  Please advise - thank you.

See if you can print out a wireless network test. Does it say pass or fail on the "wireless on" and "wireless working" lines ?

You may need to see if you can push the WPS button on your router if you have one and see if your printer is found. Also under the set up menu if you click on network it should tell you if your wireless radio is on or off.

Let us know if the router finds the printer.

Thank you for your reply.  I do not have a wps button on the router so I did a reset.

The setup that you speak of, is it in the HP setup?

I'm still not wireless.

Re: HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m not printing wireless anymore

Ok thanks for checking. What we need to do is get into your router settings and we should be able to click a WPS button under wireless on the router page. This will give you a chance to connect wirelessly to the printer.

First thing to do is under the setup menu go to Network

Then click on print network configuration page.

This should print out a page that will have a default gateway on it (192.168.x.x)

Put  this IP address in the internet address bar on your computer and it should pull up your router page

You will want to click on the wireless tab and look for the WPS button.

This will allow the router to start searching and connect to your printer.

Let us know if you have any trouble or need anything in the process.
