Re: How to reestablish wireless connection with Photosmart C7280?

I had use this link two weeks ago ago.

I had followed the procedure several times, even the manual procedure however, the WIRELESS CONNECTION will not work.  That is why I had joined the forum.

No, it won't connect to the network even though I had entered SSID, the WEP and the IP address manually.

The SSID and WEP had been saved however, IP address goes back to 000.000.00.000.

Oh that's quiet weird.
Setup > Network > Factory Defaults.
Disconnect the power cable Press and hold # and 6 connect the power cable release it after few seconds. Try running the wizard again

Using the process you just gave, the Printer is now connected to the network.

However, my computer says "Printer is Offline".

How can the computer get wireless access to printer and print/scan wirelessly from here?

Hi Samierus,
It is quite strange for me that I did not get a response from you to complete the solution on the issue that you thought is weird. It maybe weird to you but a reality to a customer like me who had invested on HP Products cause I believe on the promise of quality and service from your company. To have a disclaimer that you do not speak on company's behalf is also another conflicting flaw when this forum is heavily advertised by HP on HP website.

 ; (

I just became one unhappy customer....

I am extremely sorry for the late response. Please dont be unhappy we always standby our customers.
Now that the printer is connected to the network. Make a note of the ip address of the printer. Go to the printer properties and select add port > standard tcp/ip port and enter the ip address of the printer. It should resolve the issue.
