I Pad 2 printing wireless network

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless all in one printer. My networks works fine. I'm able to print from my laptop. When I try to print from my I Pad 2  I get a message that says "printer can not be found" . Apple support tells me HP support will have to help me.

 

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?

AirPrint only works with HP e-printers.

Mine is  - a909g - is there a driver or something i can download and if so where can i fine it?

There are no drivers available for the 8500 series.
