Is it the Jet Direct or the printer

I am printing using a HP 3700 Jet Direct and it's connected to a HP2015 printer. I print multiple applications and when i print from as400 the queue shows the printer is busy, but there is no signs from the printer that it's jammed nor errors. how do i configure the jet direct to print this or is it my printer not seeing it
