J6480 erroneous error messages

J6480 is continually telling me my cartridges are installed incorrectly. They are correctly installed and work just fine. How do I make the error messages go away..and why is it continually doing this? It will also say incompatible cartridges.

If these are genuine, new HP cartridges, you can reset the printer. Turn it off, then pull the power plug out of the back of the printer for 30 seconds.
If these are not genuine, new HP cartridges proceed at your own risk.

They are genuine, new HP cartridges. They were not recently installed. The printer prints just fine. However, I am tired of having to unplug the stupid thing every other day just so the ERRONEOUS message will stop showing up.
So, is there another solution or perhaps a genuine reason this is happening?

If that reset did not work, lets do a harder reset. Turn the printer off, hold the # and 6 keys while and for a few seconds after turning it back on.
