I have a Belkin N+ wireless router running the latest Firmware (v 1.01.19) and an HP Pavilion dm1 Notebook running Win 7 64 bit. However, the wireless connection to the printer keeps dropping. It thinks the printer is offline and extremely hard to restore. Sometimes it takes multiple reboots of PC, printer and router and sometimes that doesn't work. Is there a fix or should I set up a fixed IP address? If so, how?

When the system indicates that the printer is offline, print a Wireless Network Test from the Network menu on the front of the printer. Is it indeed disconnected from the network?

No, it is not truly disconnected. I also have another laptop (Dell running Win XP) that prints just fine wirelessly.

OK, if the printer is still connected to the network, then it is either somehting in your router or you PC.
Download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-92
What does it say?

Rebooted the PC and ran the utility. First it says my PC is connected to my network (printer has an IP address of 198.168.2.4) and to the Internet. When I press Start, it says printer connection verified, but when i click Test Print it say Test Print Failed and does not print. Print cue says it's Offline, but I can print from my Vista PC.

Click on the advanced tools then Show Firewalls. Do you have a firewall that is blocking?
Usually the Windows firewall is not a problem, it is often the firewall in your security suite. Try disabling that firewall.

Tried that - didn't work. Still says printer offline. However, I then tried to print from my Vista PC and it also said Printer Offline. I unchecked the Use Printer Offline box, but it still wouldn't print. Then ran a Network Config for the printer which said it was wirelessly connected. However, still couldn't print from either PC. Have not tried rebooting anything yet. I suppose the printer is dropping out somewhat and the HP Win 7 PC is more sensitive??

Yeah, reboot the router, printer and PC's and try again.

Rebooted router, printer and both PCs. PCs came back and connected to network and Internet, but neither would connect to the printer. I printed the Wireless Network Test Report. It showed "Radio On - PASS", "Radio Working - FAIL". I also printed the Network Config Page. It showed "Network Status - Offline" and "Wireless Status - Disconnected". The recommendations is to contact HP support. So, should I try to run the wireless network setup wizard or what?
