My hp printer 3070A is displaying error 0x19a0041 I have tried the tips on your site but no good...

Hi, I have spent all morning trying to sort out my hp deskjet printer (3070A) which keeps displaying 'printer failure 0x19a0041' I have worked through all the trouble shooting tips on your website, but none are working, as still displaying the error. I then tried to re-new my warranty, to put in a request for a service, but the system couldn't process my request. I then tried to call your helpline but the number is no longer in use. Please help! I am at my wits end, as have spent a whole morning trying to sort this out! Thanks, Sarah

I have seen errors for many different reasons.  They can range from bad print cartridges to bad settings to failed hardware.  I would first remove the print cartridges and power cycle the printer (unplug then plug back in).  If that doesn't help try resetting the printer to default factory settings.

To restore to factory defaults.

- unplug the printer

- press and hold the red X button and the middle button on the right side of the LCD

- plug in the power. 

This will erase any settings in the printer like wireless settings, but might also put the printer into a better state.
