Yeah, let's use the Apple router. Plug it into one of your ATT router's LAN ports and then into the WAN (the one with the unique symbol) on the Airport.
Now, get into the ATT router settings (enter '192.168.0.1' into a web browser) and disable the ATT wireless radio.
Finally, connect ALL of your devices, wired or wireless, to the Airport. Make sure there is no device (other than the Airport) connected to the ATT.

When I try to print something off the web it shows my printer is offline. I can't seem to be able to solve the problem. My parinter HP Office Jet 8600 Plus shows I have a network connection. I am clueless.
Thanks fort any help,

Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved by HP yet? This is pathetic. I've wasted hours of time trying to resolve this issue. Please, find a fix and let us know what it is? The 8500 goes offline and does not wake-up.

I sympathize with you - and while resetting everything is okay I guess - did you ever think that for the cost of the wireless printer we probably shouldn't have to go to those lengths?

These are quite annoying responses. How do you change the channel, why should we have to do that?
You need to provide a fix/patch.

I've had this problem too, but in XP, if you open "Printers & Faxes" -> R-clk your 8500 and there should be the option "Use Printer Online". That's what I do on the XP machine.
But in W7 there is no such option when you R-clk the printer and can't seem to find that option anywhere on the W7 machine.

I also have the same problem with my HP 8500a Pro printer. The only way I seem to be able to get the printer back online is to go into the windows printers screen, delete the printer and then reinstall it. I also seem to have lost the software that drives the scanner function. It is on a home network along with other computers. I have a HP laptop (W7) that always loses contact with the printer and a Fujitsu laptop (XP) that always seems to maintain contact - even with the scanner function. What is it with HP printers and HP scanners? I tried to reload the original printer software but do not seem to have an original HP disc with drivers. I tried downloading the latest drivers off the HP site but it makes no difference. I have downloaded several HP updates and this may be where the problem lies because for almost 12 months the original setup worked fine from all 3 computers in the house.
Where can I get original drivers for printer and scanner from?
