Network printing from MacOSX to HP2570: driver available?

 I just installed a router, to which the 2570 is cabled. Wireless printing works fine, from our HPdv5000 laptop (of course - kissing cousins).

 

However, my MacBookPro can find the printer but has problems shipping files to it. "User connect error". FWIW, the MBP prints to the 2570 just fine when connected via USB. It's just the wireless connection method that fails.

 

Is there a (new) driver available that might ease this problem?

 

(Or is the 2570 a bit too old for this sort of support?)
