I've seen similar threads but none dealing with the C3180. I have my printer hooked up to my D-Link router and my Win 7 PC is wired to the router, while an XP laptop is wireless. Both see the printer but register it as Offline. The HP network diagnostic utility does not find my printer. I checked the firewall settings and it appears to allow printer sharing. If you're going to suggest I find my printer's IP address, please tell me how to do that since I can't find any instructions on that process. Thanks

Tell me about your network - router brand/model, encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc) and ISP type (DSL, Cable, etc).

OK, do you have a security system with a firewall? Disable it and retest.
Print a network config test from the printer - does it have a valid IP address (not 0.0.0.0 or 169.254.x.x)?
If it does, type that IP into a browser's address bar to see if you can access the printer's internal settings.
