OfficeJet 8600 Pro: Fax to Network Folder won't configure

Hi,

 

Fax to Network folder won't configure. I go to the EWS, click on Fax, click on Fax to Network Folder, start the Wizard at which point it asks me for a username and password to access the Network Folder.

 

Here's he problem - the folder is on a shared network drive on a WORKGROUP (not a domain) so there is no username or password as these aren't a requirement of the network.

 

Is there work around?

 

Crazy to insist on this information as Scan's can be sent to a network folder and no credentials are required. Why is it different for the fax?!
