Photosmart C7280 network connection failed in setup

I am receiving a"error can not connect to the network. I am trying to set this printer to a wireless network on Airport Extreme using WPA/WPA2 encryption but no luck...

What do I do? I have retried the network name and password a number of times. Does this printer work with a WPA encryption?

Yup, it should work fine with WPA/WPA2.

 

Change the 2.4GHz channel to 11.  Strange, but it works.

Oh, OK.

 

Make sure you are broadcasting your network name SSID (it will not connect to a hidden SSID), that 802.11g mode is enabled (along with others is OK) and restart the Airport by pulling its power plug momentarily before your next attempt.

Got it. Found another fix suggestion using power off after resetting the network to factory. Then power off wait 30 seconds then hold down the # 6 buttons and power back on. It found the network no problem.

Strange but good to know.  The Restore should have done that by itself.

Your right. Tried restore twice with no effect. I found the # 6 on the community board. Thanks again
