Photosmart D110 offline, error printing

HP Photosmart D110 printer,  D-Link router. Laptop running Windows 7 64-bit. Recently I had to reestablish
 Internet connection via EarthLink, and D-Link reset the router, after which I could not get the printer online using any of the directions I found here. The printer says it is correctly set up and recognizes the network, but nothing I tried would get it online. So I installed the printer again on another port as a copy. This copy is online but also will not print--in the print queue it says error. What do I try next?

Does Earthlink provide your router?  What model is it?  Can you update firmware on it?

Delete all instances of the printer, then go to Start > All Programs > HP > [your model] > Add a Device and re-add the device.

EarthLink did not provide the router. It is a D-Link DIR-615.

OK, use the router CD to make sure your router has the latest firmware.

I was able to reinstall the printer through Devices and Printers-> Add a printer, and now it is online and printing. Thanks.
