Photosmart premium C309g has Gigabit ethernet connection ?

Hi

 

I can't find this information on the product description : is the ethernet connection of the HP Photosmart premium C309g is supposed to be fast gigabit ?

 

Because when i plug my printer on my gigabit ethernet router, the green led switches to orange (non gigabit : 10 or 100 Mb/s)

 

Is someone can give me an answer ?

I am not positive, but would find it very unlikey that it is gigabit.  I am not sure that kind of speed is required to transmit printing info.

By reading more the user manual, I can read LAN 10 M/B and LAN 100 M/B ; so it's quite nearly sure it's not ethernet gigabit 1000 M/B. :smileyembarrassed:

 

If it's not necessary for printing information, it's bad because router always swithes to the the lowest speed. I have all Gigabit devices (NAS, Media player, AV receiver, etc...) and because of my printer, the lan i srunning to 100 MB and not 1000 MB. Bad point for HP !!! :smileymad:
