Printer Not Found

I have a HP Color Laserjet CM2320nf MFP and am trying to install as a network printer. My DSL modem is connectet to my switch. My laptop (Windows 7 64bit) and printer are connected to my switch. I go through the install and it gets to the printer location screen, and cant find the printer. Windows firewall, and modem firewall are both turned off. Can someone please walk me through this or provide some insight to install a network printer, that would be great.

It is a ISP issue modem/router, motorola I think it is, and the switch is a netgear.

I actually just solved this issue......I made a rookie move and didnt config the static IP on the printer...DUH
