We are running Server 2008 SP2 x64. I just got an HP 4250 printer. Initially, I installed it with the PCL 5 driver that was already on the system. People were able to connect, print, etc. no issues.
I tried to then change the driver to the PCL 6. The only people now that can connect to it are 64 bit based computer. 32 bit computers when trying to connect to the printer for the first time on the server will show that it's looking for a driver on the server, but then goes to Windows Update to look for it, only to fail.
What's going on here?
